Apostophes

There seems to be a problem with displaying some apostrophes. In this post, they appear as ’

If you quote the post, they appear OK but I noticed that it is a different character to what I get when type an apostrophe.

It could be that someone is composing their message outside of the browser, and that application is changing the character used.

Word for instances uses a different character to " to start quoting and switches the the standard usage over without asking, so I wouldn't be surprised if it does the sames with apostrophes.
