Pointed out the classified section to my boss the other day, he is looking for a GT3. However, looking through the classified section you have to sweep through all the 'normal porsches.'

Just a thought but how about segregating the GT models from the Carreras similiar to the M power/AMG sections.

Use the filter and you can show only GT3s.

Select the 'Filter' tab and put 'GT3' in the 'Search in Titles' box. thumbup

Of course he can also chose to filter on all sorts of other criteria as well ...

I know you can use the filter, just when we were both looking we thought it strange that M power has a section, AMG has a section and when searching for GT3 on Autotrader they have a separate search criteria.

Noticed the same myself the other day.

I think the best solution is some 'quick filters' that allow you to instantly filter 'turbo', or 'gt2' or 'gt3'.

Good idea?

Problem with Autotrader is that if you try to filter Turbo you get cars that have Turbo wheels, etc.

Where PH classifieds is good is that is searches the titles.

I like it how it is, think the filtering works well.

Quick filter sounds good as an addition to the way things currently work. ie maintain the current groupings of 964/993/996/997 and the ability to filter. But have comon filter searches at the top of the section, say for "GT3", "GT2" and "turbo" by clicking on the highlighted phrase. This does of course require people to use the correct phrases when writing their adverts.
