Standard procedure is you click report once and if a moderator sees fit they will moderate the posts in question, they aren't your personal censorship team and maybe they feel it doesn't require editing. If you have such a problem with the thread then i suggest you stop re-reading it and let it go

Thanks, Silent1. I am well aware of how moderation works, however, to to be called a 'jumped up c**t' I feel is a tad rude - sorry if you don't agree.

Fair enough but it's been said and maybe it's worth taking it up with the poster via email rather than repeatedly asking their posts to be edited. more to the point the thread has been closed and it's not on the first page anymore anyway so i can't see it being edited

Is it beyond your ability to stop reading it? Surely you can just stop reading it, I don't see what all the kerfuffle is about.
