Why is it that about once a month I'm told that I can't email somebody because it has been disabled due to my email account bouncing mail (no I don't want a technical explanation on a mail bounce - I could probably write a book on such things myself).

Go to profile, hit the reset button next to my account and all is good for another month.

Now I know for sure that my email account doesn't bounce mail. So whats up with the system keep setting me to being a bouncer once a month or so?

Our bounce processor must be receiving messages. I'm afraid it's as simple as that.

Do you have any validity check, or is it an opportunity for mischief?

Possible, but unlikely as the bounce processor doesn't just bounce any email, it's got to be a recognisable bounce message.
