And why close the thread daz?

Christ, if you can let a post go on about planes and conveyor belts, why cant someone get some opinions on what to do for a week

My reply, which I couldn't post, was to suggest that your employer might need to lay a few people off, and with the money saved, cut its prices/charges.

Strangley enough, and it's a wild concept I know but isn't this a car site?

With the P&P which is non-car related stuff.

Strangely enough, it is. Which is probably why it was in the pie and piston

In fairness to the mystery OP, I was a little confused as to its closure.

Don't be so bloomin' wet!

If you used your real name, then the topic may have some credability behind it and some people may be able to empathise and as such, it might stand a remote chance of being kept.

Asking rubbish questions as an anonymous poster is just pap. To then start crying about it with a new post is even papper! (no, it's not a word, but I just made it up; I like it!).

I will only ever leave anonymous posts if they are of genuine worry or the reason behind them is one of very personal reasons (I'm sure you can all imagine the situations I mean). Outside of that Daz was (I think) right to lock it (and I'd have done the same if he hadn't have got there first!)

Don't be so crass as to suggest there are numbers of posts or terms of months behind it.
To use the analogy you all like to use of a pub; if you're in the pub and your mate asks you for advice, you'd answer him. If someone wearing a disguise walked in and asked you for advice, you'd say "trot on".

Interesting discussions we welcome.

People who can't decide what to do without creating anonymous profiles and asking the advice of strangers doesn't often make for interesting reading I'm afraid.

Perfect reply.

It is 99% a car site. The P&P seems to exist for people who boil piss, repost eachother, attention whore etc.

So either leave them to it or delete the P&P!

Can't understand people moaning about the relationship threads etc. - if you're not interested then don't read them! You can unsub from P&P the way you can unsub from any of the other subforums! eace:

I don't share that point of view. If a TV channel has more and more nonsense on it you end up not watching the channel at all. I take the same view of P&P. There's usually a lot of good stuff on there which is why I don't like to see it diluted.

I'd have thought my closure comment would have given a an indication why it was closed.
