Bold text everywhere for topics?

All of the P&P seems to be bold text when you look at the topics page. I think it may be something to do with new posts? It looks a bit OTT on my screen and no-where near as clean as the none bold text that was there previously.

Fait point. I thought it useful for new posts but I can see your point if they're all new.

I think it's made worse because it only updates the bold with each visit, not after you view the topic.

I think it makes the forums very hard work to read, not nearly as defined, would work if the forums were not so busy i think

I too don't really like the new bold text that's started appearing everywhere. The little icons down the side work just fine

Have to say its one of the new things I dont really like, makes it quite hard on the eyes, and I think more obvious at work.

I find it extremely helpful,
The stickies which I tend to forget to check are now highlighted when new so it helps with that

Ditto - makes surfing at work VERY obvious

It would look much better that way. Also, how difficult would it be to make the new post marker update at the same rate as 'my info -> contributions' does? The colour change and bold both dissapear after you see the new posts, and come back when there is another new post. That doesn't happen in the forum. The evil bold stays until you bugger off.
