PH Ad dragging my machine

I've noticed this on two machines now, both running Opera (although I'm trying to get the ad to come up in IE7), that the PistonFest ad totally locks up both machines with the proc driving itself into the floor.



One is a Toshiba laptop with a 1.2 P3M, and the other is a 2.6 AMD machine. So although i can imagine the Tosh being slightly underpowered, the AMD shouldn't really be.



I mentioned the same thing about the Ebay front page a few days ago, but obviously the Ebay page and the PH ad have something in common that really affects the performance of machines.

My machine is about the same power as your laptop, no issues, nor do I have issue with it on my phone, which is signifcantly less powerful.



Could it be a browser issue perhaps?
