Can't see first post

I've noticed on a number of threads that the first post is not visible to me. For example this one.

I'll update this as I come across more examples.

It happens on the older threads Jeremy. I changed the database structure a couple of years back in preparation for the changes made recently. It does mean that the initial post isn't available. I did intend to write a job to retrieve them but haven't done it yet...

The examples I've seen have been new threads - the one below seems to have been started today.

The post example there is a reply to a video on the site at http://www.pistonheads.tv/clip1270 , it unfortunately doesn't show the video at the top of the post so looks a bit confusing...

Oooh - found another one that I can't see the first post of.

I can see that MikeyT started the thread (from the 'What's New' view) but the first post I see is that of silverbullet767 at 12:09 yesterday.

The last post I see is that of pesty at 17:50 today (Friday 15 June).

I'm running IE7 on Win XP at 1024x768 resolution if it helps.

I meant the number of posts.

I can see it if I view threads in ascending order (rather than my usual descending order).

Looks like the issue is to do with any forum thread that is on 20 posts as I have also found the following examples that don't show properly when viewing in descending.

e.g. 1
e.g. 2
e.g. 3

Will look into why this is happening.

I can't see the original article at the foot of this thread either.

There is currently one post on the thread.

That one was caused by multiple submission of a news item.. I have realigned them again and they are located here
