It's appears to have been getting steadily worse recently, though last night it was taking 6 or 7 attempts before the pages would load, though the classifieds seemed to be suffering more than the forums just now.

Came in here to find one of the many threads on this. I cannot believe this is still so bad - for me it's been over 6 months now.

I know it's not costing me etc. but it's a real pain in the arse and I am actually considering getting some work done in real life, that's how frustrating it has become grumpy

I've got to be another voice to this.

Different ISPs, different computers, different O/Ss and different times of day and I definitely feel a slowdown.

Could it be the ad agency changed since Haymarket took over and their ad supplying servers aren't as beefy??

That's a definite issue with the site at the moment but it reveals itself whilst the page is halfway through loading. Although I don't think there's an inherent problem with Accipiter's servers - a lot of my clients use them and don't suffer significant page load delays.

I think the main problem is that nothing happens at all when trying to access a page.

I was wondering whether it was just me, but again, other sites load quickly, just seems to be PH I have trouble with.
Sometimes all activity stops dead, I have to open new browser windows and paste the multitude of links I was trying to open.

Being on the other side of the world I would have though I was mainly surfing during your quiet time? (like now?)

I have to agree with all of the above.

Particularly frustrating when you reply to a post and click submit and it just sits there doing nothing.
