Just wondering - purely out of interest - if it was possible for a Haymarket IT bod to look at all the profile's "fantasy cars" in the database, and show a league table of member's most desired cars? Also, what the most commonly owned car on here is?

Not sure about a Haymarket IT Bod, but there is a PistonHeads IT bod wink

We are thinking in our plans an idea around this, but this is a little way off, but in the meantime I have run one of these reports recently, and just to satisfy your curiosity the top 5 are:

1 - TVR
2 - BMW
3 - Porsche
4 - Lotus
5 - Ford

Thanks for that, will be interesting to know what's in the pipeline!

Is that owned cars or fantasy cars? I imagine owned - no Ferraris or Lambos there!

While on profile data, Google can still bring up some data from my profile I removed (for personal reasons) - can past data be removed? (e.g. LMES 2004 and Porkers.co.uk)

Larry Page is on the case wink

In the mean time, surely the old pages are redundant? i.e. google only finds what PH has on its' servers

It's the google cache you're seeing - they've not reindexed your page

It sees the proper PH page (i.e. without the info), but the Porkers and LMES are still as per the old one

Was that really a recent list? I know this place started as a TVR site, but with 90K odd members (well some of them are odd wink ) and 30 odd thousand new in the last 18 months since I joined, I'm surprised to see TVR at No1 still scratchchin

Hmm I'll have to fix my list, I used the fantasy cars column to list cars that I have had use of but not owned (eg my brother's cars)

Interesting point. I'd be curious to the know the actual numbers of each.

That list was run in April this year, though we are now approaching 100k members, only 25,000 have actually filled in car details.
