I've noticed in a lot of the adverts in classifieds, when you click on them to enlarge them, a section of the picture get's cut off..

For example, I wanted a closer look at the tailpipes of this lovely GT2 (nerd), but when you click on picture 2, it cuts the bottom off, and you can't enlarge the window by dragging the bottom corner.

Anything that can be done?

That is a lovely car there, but back to the issue, suspect that it's down to browser version or possibly display resolution, reason I say that is it looks great here smile

So they have a starting point for troublshooting you may want to reply here with your current browser and OS.

I have a similar problem when looking at pictures. If the picture is vertical, the bottom part of the picture won't fit on the screen, and no scroll bar pops up so I can go down. Small issue, but it's a bit annoying when it chops off part of the car.

How much of the picture is missing, and the browser type and OS would be useful, as each browser renders the size of the popup box differently and though tested on various here there are still some versions that can do funny things.

Alternative ways round this if using IE7 or Firefox is to have popups open in a new tab and then it wont resize the window to something you can't view the whole picture.

Hope that helps.

Just the bottom 1/5th, so on the GT2 example above, it cuts off right through the centre of the tailpipes, or the picture of the wheels - it cuts off just below the bottom of the spokes.

It's usually there but not too annoying - it's worse when someone creates a collage by merging a number of photos into one.

At home, I'm using MS explorer version 6.0 to browse running on a Dell 2.6GHz using MS Windows XP Home edition version 5.1.2600. At work, it's a CAD tube running a PC simulator.

I think we will look at redesigning this page as it is coming up with a few problems for various browsers. It should resize to the size of the picture when you click, but it seems that for some browsers it is not rendering the sizes correctly it gets from the pic. Will look into, or add a scrollbar as a short term fix.
