Missing first posts

I went looking for a thread I started years ago because I needed to reference it, and as usually happens ended up revisiting several of them due to nostalgia.

Anyway, I noticed that on a large proportion of them my original initial post was missing.

Could this be a bug / defect?

A known issue, perhaps techies can help find it but there are a number of the older thread that are missing posts, infact in website feedback it has been asked a few times over the last month or so.

As David says, this has been caused by the database structure being changed underneath and the older threads not being aligned with the new way to display the forums. We do have the posts still, so will be looking at sorting this problem out and getting the new posts back after the server upgrades.

I was presuming it was some kind of fence-post error.
