Right, I asked this a few weeks back but got no response.

Whenever I click on a picture in the classifieds it comes up with a "file not found" from the javascript, if I type in the URL directly then it works OK.

I thought maybe there was a problem with the computer, but I'm sitting here with a fresh install of XP on a new laptop and they're not loading!

What's going on?

Thumbnails are fine, it's the big pics when you click.

Pics in this classified work:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/244511.htm

Pics in this classified don't:

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/classifieds/244715.ht...

Is anybody else having the same issue?

Oooh - just noticed the different URLs, is that relevant?

Yep, the .com / .co.uk is a red herring, but with the word "sales" in the URL the pics work, but with "classifieds" they don't.

Can somebody else test this please?

A quick question guys, how are you getting to the detail pages, are you going straight through the site, or coming in from search engines etc?

We have a system in place to redirect to the new naming convention, but it is obviously breaking down somewhere so I need to know where that is.

Cheers.

I can't remember now, sorry frown

It maybe that I'm just typing the URL like that...

Is one the "preferred" method? Maybe it's worth an "update your bookmarks" page with a delayed redirect? I didn't notice as it's seamless other than when you click on the pictures. I am sure people have linked to the wrong URL in the forums from time to time.

Why doesn't it work? If you type in the URL (even the "wrong" version) it works, but click it and the javascript trips itself up somehow...

We had to make a change to the directory due to search engines, it has an automatic redirector so that it points to the correct area, but for some reason the last part with the pictures isn't working. I will look into that this week.
