can we have a bit that shows old login names (pls don't move this mods!)

i realised that whilst i thought bliar out had disappeared he had, in fact, changed his name - to what i do not know.

schnell is the old ASBO. and there are loads of other no doubt.

could we not include the posters 'last login name' on the bit on the left hand side

the thing is you can have more of joke if you're had banter before but i don't want to have to go working out who everyone is all the time!

i think it'd be useful.

We don't store previous login names against the user. Though we do store the login name at the time anyone posts, so technically we could cross reference them, but it would be a bit intensive on the database to do a scan of all the posts a member has done to see what their previous login name was. I will add it to the list, but at the moment I dont think it will be something we will do. (Obviously unless a thousand people scream that they desperately need it)

okay!
an alternative might be for us to have the option to enter oue last login name into our details and for this to be displayed by out post count. a lot of people put in their details their old logins but this is only partially useful compared to being able to see it on the thread view...

anyway just a thought!
