Members Cars Page Problem

Hi, I have been updating the members cars page and it does not seem to be updating mine properly. It seems to be adding everything up and not seperating them out per year. An example is, I added my car insurance for 25 Sept 2006. Now I have added my new car insurance for 27th Sept 2007 but when it puts total per year in the summery, it has added them together.

Also, all entrys for the Edit History for 2006 has the year but anything for 2007 just has the date but no year. For example, Non return valve was done on Thursday 5th October 2006 but Earthing Strap just says Friday 16th February where it should also say 2007.

Am I doing something wrong or is it not working properly? Apolagies if I am doing it worng or misunderstanding it.

This isn't an area I have really looked into yet, but looking at the initial values it seems that the system divides the costs by the total months to get the yearly average, as the car is still being classed as 12 months old it hasn't started a new year.

Next month it will split to two years.

I just changed the month I got the car a month earlier and also the insurance a month earlier to force it over a year and it made no difference. So not sure you theory will work.
