Not having ago, nothing personal....not expecting any great change in the amount of these threads but..... why?

I mean, being a member of Pistonheads must mean you have a higher than normal passion for cars.
At any given moment, most of us I'd wager are either selling a car, buying a car, wondering what our next car will be, and/or dreaming what the one after that might be.
For me, buying a car, like a lot of things in life, is about anticipation... the brochures, Autotrader, test drives, classifieds, the choices.... I'm THAT interested that I make damn sure I cover the bases in any given market/budget sector.

I know what I like, and I'm pretty sure that even if all of you said for example don't buy a FWD, diesel, with a grey cloth interior running steel 14"s if thats what floats my boat then thats what I'll get. I'm not sure what any of you enthusiasts get from all the opinions and suggestions... don't you know what you like?

Surely for those that need direction someone could create a 'sticky'
FWD
RWD
Diesel
sporty
practical
£1-5k
£6-10k
£11-15k

etc etc....

yes more often than not the same cars are being posted as suitable anyway, whether or not they actually fit the Op's criteria, MX5, MR2 Turbo, etc etc.

See from there shoes, and maybe you will understand why, they want 'us' the experts to give them the right cars.

I find what car threads interesting... If you don't like them, don't bother reading them.

Most want different opinions on their choice of car. Some want to know what to look out for when viewing, sometimes there will be a little deal done between PH'ers when one realises that another is in the market for what they are selling.

It's a forum for people to talk about cars. Sometimes these threads get the old creative juices flowing. I'm a bit bored of hearing MX5, NSX etc as well, but there's a good deal of practical help offered in most what car threads.

I appreciate your opinion on the subject, but I don't see it's importance. You know what it's going to be when you click, so maybe not click? confused
