Not something I have seen, what browser and operating system are you using? Also is this happening on the same posts or just various posts randomly?

XP & FF here, and Vista & FF at home - same issue.
I think it happens only on threads that are follow-ups to news stories e.g. here.
It's probably related to my preference for high DPI on large screens - they are both running at 1680 x 1050 @ 120DPI. If this is the case, probably won't affect (m)any other users.
