Scam adverts. An Idea
Discussion
When adverts are placed do you collect the IP address?
I have noticed on some websites that to get their email/telephone address you have to click a link.
Perhaps if the IP address is questionable a possible warning could be shown to potential buyers. Perhaps this could also stop bogus buyers from browsing adverts to grab/harvest email addresses.
added: Just remembered that you need to register. Do you ever count how many come from one location?

Hi, We don't like to mention all the stategies we use to block scam ads as they may use it to get round the systems, but we do have numerous systems in place to try and stop them.
Many scammers use a different IP address and a different email address for every advert they place, so warnings against suspect IP addresses wouldn't work.
Cheers for the ideas though
