I've searched but come up with nothing so figure I'll ask here...

I've recently been browsing PH from a PDA device - it can't handle the javascript menu at the top of all the gassing pages so it expands every menu completely and renders them all in one long block - this means I have to scroll down 20 odd times to get to read any and every page on the forum.

Are there any plans for a mobile friendly version of the forum minus the javascript menus?

Have you tried Minimo?

installed the latest minimo but it seems to crash my device (MDA Vario III) which is a little annoying!

Just fancied the idea of a stripped down PH...

Pocket Opera?

Presumably you could have a local CSS resource possibly?

Alternatively you could try changing your forum skin to Big Blue in the My Info -> Preferences and see how that goes as it was designed to be more PDA friendly.

Hope that helps, and let us know how you get on smile

I think thats my view on Blackberry,

the pillar of script you describe, was what I had until Ted used his emulation device to recreate my view

I'm possibly a bit late to the party but these PDA phones are rocking. TomTom mobile, 3mp camera, QWERTY keyboard, I'm only starting to realise what these things are capable of!

(this pic shows the old forum skin with the big menu, now a thing of the past for me)

How are you finding it? Really like mine.

Just installed TomTom 6 and it works very well with TomTom Traffic (Connecting via GPRS).

I'm glad someone else was having the same menu problems though (i was about to post a similar thread). I've changed to the blue theme on here and i'll report my findings back later on.

I think it's great - TomTom works just as well as a native device with the added bonus that you can switch in an and of the phone as well. I've got the speed camera POIs loaded which are quite good.

There is a forum devoted to these things over at xda-developers.com - if it can be done, those guys are doing it.

I'm planning to remove all the T-Mobile branded stuff and flash it back to the original HTC version to speed it up a bit.
