i think it'd be a good idea to always show the post at the bottom of one page at the top of the next (like happens on the forum post page things).

often there's a decent post at the bottom of a page that seems to get 'ignored'...!

An interesting idea, but I do think it will lead to people complaining about why posts are repeating, especially if you are trying to read a whole topic. Though I am happy to stand corrected on this, and maybe look at adding it as an option for the futre.
