tried to edit my post and was greeted with "sorry an error has occurred", when I try to go back to the thread it just says "nothing to see here"

Can someone remove G4Addicted's post on the Scotland forum re the A9 Balliinluig please - this has suffered this fate so I've re done the topic under my own ID

Sorry - and another!! Scotland, Let the Countdown begin.

Clue - It posted OK, I then spotted a spelling mistake, edited it, got a 500 error, and then when went back in, had lost the post. This is same as happened with previous post - (the G4 man had left himself logged on, I inserted a post, realised wrong id, went to edit it and 500ed then lost it).

Its back up again

We are working on this, it happens when the first post on a topic is edited before anyone else has replied

We hope to have a solution ASAP but for now do not edit the first post in a thread until someone has posted a reply and you should be able to avoid this problem

This is now solved, you can edit your topics when you like.

Sorry about that problem.
