Hi, i had to create another account just to be able to post this. My original login is "Scorp" for ref.

My browser can log me in automatically but every time i click "reply" to a thread i get thrown back to the main page with an "internal error" message. When i try to manually login in with my password the site also doesnt recognise it (which is bizarre considering its the same one as firefox remembers). I had this problem about 9 months ago too and some helpfull mod "reset" something to fix it.

Help would be appreciated, as i fear i might have to do a full days work at my office otherwise biggrin

I also have problems with logging in, I can log in fine and even browse the "My contributions" tab, but when I try to reply to a thread, or quote an existing reply I get stuck in an endless cycle of logging in, going back to the thread, trying to post, asked to login, etc.
Is there some way I can solve this, or is it just a subtle way of saying I post too much rubbish smile

Sounds like the system is getting itself into a twist with your login when trying to write the cookie (the data we store about the site) to your computer.

Have you got any firewall software or other setups for virus/security on your computer?

Yeah I have Norton Internet installed, use Firefox as the browser.

I'm not too hot on the options in Norton, but I did have problems with it at my previous job stopping certain things from not working as all the variables are changeable throughout sites. It might be worth playing with the options to see if it improves the situation.
