There is a problem festering in the northeast forum. I have emailed details to Paul but nothing has happened. Speaking with many of the regulars we have been inundated with emails asking for someone to act to put an end to the constant nastiness.

There are several new members, fastpete, peter perfect and dylan the rabbit who have joined PH for the sole purpose of causing pain to one of our members. NEPH is becoming a very unpleasant no go area. Please take action to put an end to this.

I fully support tvrbob's comments with regard to the North East Forum. I too have received numerous emails from regular members who are dismayed at what is happening; a few new wmembers are destroying what has become a very friendly and successful forum. Many of us would be grateful if you could resolve this problem for us.

Even though Im not a NEPH'er, I have met some nice chaps from up that way and enjoy reading and occasionally posting in the NE forum, but now it seems to have spiralled into a schoolyard slagging match with "Me, Myself and I" otherwise known as Peter Perfect, Fast Pete and Pete...sorry, Dylan The Rabbit

If you'd like to report abuse on the pertinent threads we'll (le Mods) take a look and take appropriate action.

Unwarrranted (!) abuse is something we take very seriously so it will be looked at I can assure you.

This is more serious than a single post. If I were to follow your advice and report all of the problem posts then the mods would be having a go at me. We on NEPH are suffering something far nastier than one or two inappropriate posts. Real action needs to be taken and quickly. One of these nasty people has stated that they are an existing PHer under an assumed name. IP addresses need to be blocked now, not later. If you are a mod then please help.

If you still think I should send 200 reports to cover all of the offensive content then say so and I will. I will do what ever is required, I just want action taken and taken quickly.

A link to the thread/s in question not even the individual posts, by email if you prefer, would be useful as getting a nose bleed at Oxford means I dont spend a lot of time reading the NE forum.

fastpete is a really vindictive poster

peter perfect is less vindictive but nasty

dylan the rabbit has gone but was the start of this and apparently knows the pete and peter. As I say these people are here for the single purpose of causing agro.

Thanks everyone for sorting it out, does raise a question though, should there be a trusted user with Mod abilities in the area.

I'm not suggesting its their day job to constantly poll, but just someone who frequents fiarly regularly who has permission to close threads, remove users etc etc.

Food for thought maybe.
