The current sports forum seems to be predominantly football, cricket, football, running, football.... which is fine - talking about football teams clearly needs a 'corner'!

However, this means the ski / snowboard / extreme sports posts usually end up on the main P&P

Would it be possible to have a sports AND an extreme sports or winter sports forum? or the three?

There are quite a few skiers & boarders or people involved in extreme sports, water sports, diving, etc on here.... I've found this a lot in the car/motorcycle communites!

Quite often the useful info about kit, resorts, how to get started, etc etc, that is posted becomes lost & buried when the discussions start on the P&P... and the current sports forum!

Just a thought - I know I've suggested it before & had no reply but I'd use it cos the other extreme sports forums I know of are full of angst ridden adolescents who TLK N TXT SPK and shout a lot.

Thanks - probably not enough people for a dedicated snow forum but perhaps for an extreme sports/water/snow etc.
