The way articles are posted
Discussion
When I visit PH at lunchtime to catch up on the motoring news, it's often the case that news articles that appear on the front page don't exist yet, have already been deleted (something weird happened yesterday to the Subaru Celica article, or the topic associated with it), or are just plain incomplete. It seems that the link to an article comes into existence before the content behind it is necessarily ready. e.g. Right now, the article about the new Delta has three thumbnail images on it. One links to a non-existent image. One is itself broken and doesn't link to anywhere. The third one links to an image, but it doesn't open in the usual small floating window.

Update: the images are falling into place - 2 now work, and in the floating window way. 3rd one still broken...

All stories on the front page will have a story behind them after the homepage is updated. The forum conversations on the news story will not appear until the first person has posted something. The Celica story yesterday had a problem as the first poster deleted their post and the story which is something we are looking at stopping happening in the future.
The pictures for some reason are running slow at synching across the webservers, so you could end up missing some. We are looking at solving that ASAP.
