Problem with search function..

When I do a search in 'Biker Banter' for "R6", the search brings back nothing, however there are least two threads with R6 in the title..

I don't think the search function searches the titles.

Although they both have R6 in the theads as well......er........it's a Honda sponsored feature.

Possibly too short for the search feature to look for?

I know Vbulletin can't search for words shorter than 3 characters?

Currently we have searching set at minimum word length of 3 characters. This is set at the database level and though we could drop this to 2 characters this would make a massive degredation to the search performance, and thus have an impact across the whole site which in the current climate we are not inclined to change, sorry.

Once we have sorted out the speed issues we may look at reviewing this.
