Clever that, seems odd you want assurance now that they wont be changed.

Approximately how long ago? And what type of change; was it changing the meaning or simply changing an embedded picture to a link something like that? What thread was it on?

That's the thread. You were being offensive and so a moderator edited the posts. You then re-edited the posts yourself.

I'm struggling to understand the point of this topic?

no refference to the modorator !
they just made these remarks look like mine!

You broke the rules, not a moderator. That is why a moderator needed to change your posts. You then re-edited the post that the moderator edited so there is no history of what the moderator had or had not said.

A moderator has full access to your profile, and all the posts you make. We need it to be able to change things that are not appropriate (like your posts in the case you cited). If that power is abused then it should be reported and I have no doubt at all that if it occured (and I can't believe for one second that it would) that the moderator in question would have his powers revoked and, probably, be banned from the site completely. It would be totally inappropriate.

Time to wrap this one up.

Obviously moderators can change posts, as they are instructed by PH to keep the forums in check. If a post breaks the rules then they can change it.

If a moderator changes your post to read something different to what you had written- for no reason then that's wrong.

If they edit a rude, racist or offensive comment, or remove an offensive image then that is fine.

I think you understand this perfectly well, having been on PH for so long, and this is not becoming an excuse to start the C2 dabate again- see thread below for that.
