Threads not refreshing immediatly?

Over the last few weeks I've noticed that my posts don't appear in the thread immediately which is rather irritating! Previously I could make a post and hit on return to thread to see my post, now it seems to take 30 seconds or more for it to appear, even if I hit refresh it still doesn't appear for a while. What is the problem?


p.s. like this one. I just clicked on the thread subject in the listings and all I got for about 2 minutes was a blank screen saying "Nothing to see here." Then after a while my post has appeared. Surely they are not all being monitored?

Servers are struggling with the load. New hardware is imminent I believe (sorry if that sounds like a broken record!).

Half the new hardware was installed last night so hopefully that will alleviate this problem.
