Smilies, smilies everywhere

Anyone else getting random smilies everywhere?

Currently in the top left hand corner I've got a and when I press backspace I get a :nod: all on his little lonesome in the top left hand corner.

Very strange... will find a vista machine to test on and have a look into it.. I take it the site works apart from that?

Yup, all working.

Now and again I get a smiley here and there - but its hiding for now.
