Some ads not loading

On some pages my IE is constantly trying to load something (the little circle thingy keeps rotating).

When this happens there seems to be no ad displayed.

The ads are served through several third parties using a javascript call. This means that though everything from PH has been sent to your browser it can still wait for any of the ads to load afterwards. If reading the ad from the third party server is having problems then IE sits there waiting to load the advert. An annoyance, but something outside of our control.

If it is affecting your performance on PH then let us know and we will try to investigate which ad is causing the issue. If it is just a niggle that doesn't affect you while browsing the site then hopefully the problem will resolve itself with the third party content.

Alternatively, Firefox and Adblock, never wait for an ad to load again.

This seems to be still happening. When the ads don't load the drop down menu at the top of the page doesn't work which is a bit of a pain. I think it's about 50/50 between it working and not at the moment.

I'll keep an eye out for it, but if you can spot which advert it is that is loading slowly then let me know and I will have a word with those responsible.
