Following on from the War Bunker thread I was wondering if it might be a good Idea to allow the OP of a thread to "pause" it. A bit like a MOD locking the thread, but the OP could unpause it to open it up again later on and add / allow more posts.....

Just a pondering if that would be a useful feature.

I think the unpredictability of how a thread can go is a PistonHeads thing and I wouldnt want to put something in place to stop that.

Though approaching from a different angle, there maybe an option for people to create blog like entries with comments and threads from the blog being seperate so that people can follow a story like the Nazi Bunker, or a build of a car or something else seperately to the thread.

Yeah I suppose thats a better option. Something that allows posts with the "story" in them to be easily read, and all the "chatter" could be put to one side...
