Can we have a search titles only option in the advanced search?

I know the threads im after because I remember the title but can never find them even if I use "" because it searches the entire thread not just the title

If we had a whip-round to raise the £5k to buy a Google appliance, would Haymarket install it?

To get one that would be capable of indexing every document on PH, you'd be looking at ~£250k for a google search appliance IIRC based on some work i did.

How do other forums manage then? every single other forum I use has the option of searching for titles only in the advanced section.

We will look at putting one in in the future, though in the meantime you could try the google option by searching in google by adding after the words/title you are searching for adding site:www.pistonheads.com/gassing
