PH access from a Wii

Bit of a different question for a change...

Browsing PH on a Wii using the internet channel (opera based browser), the one thing I can not do is login. The Wii just does not recognise the PH login applet as a text box, so does not bring up the keyboard thingy to type your username/password in.

Its not a big issue, I'm not about to try and post much using a Wii remote rather than a keyboard anyway, but then again it would be nice to get my profile when browsing PH in the sitting room.

A good excuse for the PH devs to invest in a Wii for testing purposes??? Don't blame me when no more work gets done...

I'd imagine it will be a Javascript issue, that or a asp control that doesnt work in opera which the Wii broweser is based on.

Just testing the Wii balance board to see if it helps fix this

I will set a reminder to check again tonight, but I think it is a cookie issue.

Would be nice to get some feedback on that ... rumours say, that tv optimisation option for the mobile site has been turned on for your wii testing

Well it seems to work fine, obviously with the limited functionality of the mobile site. It keeps me logged in fine, and the column witdths are ideal for my setup with one magnification provided by the wii browser.

I'm typing this on a wii style powerboard wireless keyboard, which also works nicely.

Pictures work Links work Adverts work If i come across something that doesnt work i'll shout.

post editing works. Anything else I should be testing?
