Hi,
In 1 thread and 1 post I mentioned the Libertarian Alliance. Both these were deleted by PH. I was not promoting anything, in fact, I have no links with this organisation or even know anyone involved. That is the reason why I posted the question if somebody did know more about them. When I found their website a few days ago, it seemed quite informative and showed our society in a different light.
Just a bit surprised that my questions were deleted. Do I deduce from this that PH is politically coloured organisation rather than objective and impartial?

PistonHeads is not politically biased, however we do have a strict rule against advertising in the forums and this was explained to you via email when your posts were removed. In 1 thread and 1 post I mentioned the Libertarian Alliance. I'm sure you can understand how a brand new member repeatedly posting links to a political organisation (or a company for that matter) seems very suspicious. The same rule would have been applied whether you were linking to the website of the Conservatives, Labour or the Monster Raving Loony Party.
Hang around here, contribute to the discussions and show that you love cars and are not just here for one thing and you will find that people will be much more likely to listen.
I can see your point, but don't exactly agree with it. Would it not have been better to ask what my motives were, rather than just delete?
For the record, I have been working in the motor(racing) industry for over 20 years. Even after that, I still like motor vehicles :-) and have been driving my RS6 for about 3 years. As well as using a Golf TDi for local tooling and a M3 for track work. Now moving business and life abroad as per 01/08/08.
One thing I am not is involved with ANY political party. Just interested in that Alliance as it seemed sensible if not somewhat utopian.

It's a common theme on PH, new 'person' joins, promotes claptrap, leaves.
How can anyone tell the difference between someone genuinely mentioning something worthwhile and someone promoting something they have an interest in.
Stick around, get some posts and months under your belt and i'm sure your contributions will be more appreciated.
