Sounds like something is reducing their quality between our servers and your screen, though cant think what it could be as we have made no changes here, and my 20MB Virgin broadband at home has no problem with them at the moment.
You could try right clicking on one of the smileys and getting the address of it from properties and then open it up in a seperate window and see if it is still fuzzy.

Right, in a new window they are fine but if you click out then back in they become fuzzy. They must be cached like that somewhere. You could try right clicking on one of the smileys and getting the address of it from properties and then open it up in a seperate window and see if it is still fuzzy.

You don't have a zoom setting on your browser which is trying to make all text and images larger do you?
If I set the zoom to 125% in IE7 then the smilies appear all fuzzy
Definitely not, it's a weird one this. Text, adverts and everything else is fine, as are the same smilies on other sites. If I set the zoom to 125% in IE7 then the smilies appear all fuzzy
