My car advert still hasn't appeared?
Discussion
Hi Mods,
I placed my advert a day or so ago - on the ad management option it says live but it still hasn't appeared on the main classifieds?
Its for a bmw 530i
Here's the link...

I'm guessing you are all quiet stressed out at the moment, but if you could look that would be awesome !
Thanks
Steve

I've had a look, and it is HERE
Standard adverts such as yours appear after all the premium and dealer adverts, and also after any adverts which were on the site before the new system launched. This means that in a busy category your advert can be several pages back.
As the old adverts expire over the next couple of weeks more of a balance should appear between the premium and standard adverts, although in the mean time your advert can be found by using the advanced search and filter tools.

Thanks Will - but surely if I filter the ads by price my car should be shown in the right place? At the moment if you filter on price (as many do) its just not there ?
ETA: I'm filtering on price using the drop down 'sort' box.

There's the issue I think. If you use the advanced filtering system you can see the Advert.
HOWEVER if you use the ones where its a drop down list (on the box marked sort) the advert will not show (same with distance)...
If I filter on the drop down list my ad should be on this page but its not ?

Premium ads are effectively 'Featured' ads which will always appear at the top of thier category. The means if you sort by price (high-low) you will see the most expensive premium ad, all the way down to the cheapest premium ad before you see any standard adverts.ETA: I'm filtering on price using the drop down 'sort' box.
