Can we have a help forum?

Just an idea

With all the help threads coming up, can we have a special help forum to slot in beneath P&P? Help threads don't particularly bother me, but I think it might just be nicer to have a special help forum for people who need it. Rather than having people constantly asking for help, then people constantly complaining about people constantly asking for help?

Because I'm pretty sure the P&P is supposed to be for banter/current affairs, and it probably would be a little better. Just a suggestion

But then how would you know whether or not you can help someone?

P&P is not just for current affairs, it is for everything that doesn't fit anywhere else, help threads included.

If we split it up into too many subforums then we run the risk of creating lots of little back waters where nothing much happens, rather than one vibrant and lively forum where you will get posts/advice from a wide variety of characters.

We will monitor the situation though and if the help threads start becoming a problem (and there are enough to sustain their own forum) then we will look into creating one
