Why CO2 thread moved from P&P to GG?

Started a thread related to climate change threads on P&P, electric cars and CO2. P&P is the natural place for tis thread, why move it to GG?

I would assume because GG is a car related forum and P&P is a catch all for all things not car related or that do not have a specialised forum.

So if it's car related it'll probably end up in GG

Is Climate Change and CO2 a GG thing, which is the crux of the thread? So any P&P thread which mentions cars gets shifted to GG. Not good IMHO.

I probably would have.

We do get many reports on a daily basis asking for just this type of thread to be moved OUT of P&P, as the P&P purists don't like them car threads on their forum.

The deabate would be more to do with electrical generation, efficiencies, nuclear power, CO2, climate change etc. Rather than a typical car related thread. More P&P than GG.

Opinions vary but I'd say it was about the effects of a certain class of car so it's a car thread?

P&P when it was created was a "sweepings" forum for all the crap to collect.

Anything that mentions cars / is car related got moved to GG. For instance "what colour steering wheel"
