How long do they run for? Are they automatically deleted after a while, or does the advertiser have to delete it?

Cheers.

No. Pretty sure it was 90 days a long time ago. I don't know if it's been changed in the last few years as the site has got busier.

Its been moved down to 30 days under the new system as we were getting quite a few people not marking their cars as sold and cluttering up the listings.

well that explains why some of the cars I was looking at have disappeared frown I'm sure they weren't up there for very long.

Users are welcome to relist their cars if they haven't sold but this should help solve the problem of phoning up several cars to find that they have already sold

How do we relist an advert made under the old regime then?

The vehicle will be set as expired after 30 days and then will stay in the Classified Management Centre for a further 30 days where there is an option to relist the advert. After 60 days if no action has been taken on the advert we automatically archive it.

So does that mean I have to rewrite it Pete?

I wasn't expecting that as it was there about a week ago frown

We have been working on an importer for old ads so people dont have to rewrite them, but the system failed testing and we are rewriting it. Email me and I will see what I can do.

Still want that option to filter out Sold adverts too.. totally pointless to anyone except for you to show off how many adverts are on the system..
