Header Background looping

On the Homepage and News stories there is the black PH banner.

If I go onto a News page it starts to repeat towards the rightmost 200px of the page, but this doesn't happen on the Homepage?

Firefox 3.0.1 on XP, 1440 * 900px resolution.

Well we dont want people to forget on widescreens who we are

The site doesn't yet have a consistent header across all the pages, so as we put them inline the older pages with the repetition at the top will disappear.
