I'm finding the categories are getting very overcrowded for some cars at the moment. Take the BMW section for example - any chance of dividing the 5-series section into e60 / e39 / e34 / e28?

This goes for quite a few of the others!

This is a good idea, I would add though that in the case of marques that have code names (e.g. BMW E numbers and Merc W numbers) it should allow browsing / searching / filtering by both the code, and some other "non-technical" mechanism like year range.

We are aware that some of the classified sections are getting overcrowded, so we are going to give the classifeds a bit of a re-organise in the near future. This will include splitting some of the big categories up and also improving the features and prominence of the search tools. We are also looking at how we can give the classifieds a bit more of a performance orientated slant, rather than being overwhelmed by corsas and the like.
