Disappearing threads

Ive noticed quite a few threads recently that aren't just locked but gone completely....

Have the Moderators adopted a new policy?

I'm just continuing my policy of removing threads that I think are inappropriate or a waste of space/time or contribute to the dumbing down of the forums.
