what do the abreviations mean - as in HTH?

Is there a post on any forum that explains what the abreviations mean please. It takes me a while to realise I may be being insulted/thanked. As in HTH = hope that helps. I think that is the only one I know. Thanks.
Another eg. what does NFO stand for?

There are a few threads on this subject kicking about (e.g. HERE) but I don't think there is a single post which lists them all.

NFO is a new one to me, possibly Not Far Off?
