Firstly - you'll notice that this is about the only time I have mentioned CTF on here. It'll probably be deleted quickly because it doen't taste very nice. But there you go.

I'm still a member here and I find the following posts to be insulting and inflammatory. Not least because they are ill informed and publicly stating very misguided opinion as FACT.

Let me get some things straight:

I am the person who started CTF. Me... not "some people". So all the stuff you bang on about it aimed at me. I still read PH and am still a member.

I never sent PM's trying to "lure people away" - I have said since DAY 1 that CTF is a tiny little place that is on the internet - and people should read what the hell they want. I read PH every day...because it's great...I have 18k posts because it's great...I love it.

If it wasn't for the mails I got telling me "I was NOT welcome now" I might even attend some events.

CTF is a little place trying to plough it's own furrow. Correct.

Finally. High and mighty claims of "undermining" deleting links" and "luring members are laughable" not least because they are untrue - we actively try NOT to let PH get sgged off on CTF - but more laughable to me because of the clumsy fake account that the PH mods set up to "keep an eye on us".

We have less than a thousand members and less traffic all week that you have at 5am Sunday mornings.

Stop being so pathetic and insecure. Please.

You set up a website in direct competition to PH, populated with banned members of PH, or members of PH who flounced because it is all so unfair, your members then send "invitations" to existing PH members, and you wonder why your competitor doesn't want to send traffic to your site ?

Don't be such an idiot. Don't get me wrong, I want your site to succeed, because it keeps a lot of unpleasant people away from here.

I'd like to just say (as a Mod over there).

That ANY defamatory mention of PH is STAMPED on.... we do not support bhing and negativity and try very hard to divert/deflect discussions wherever possible.

But it IS a discussion forum - you yourselves know how difficult it is to steer people away from a subject they are hell bent on disscussing.

I am still a member of PH and have been for a very long time. I very much enjoy PH and would like that to contiune for a long time to come. It is a different beast to CTF and they both offer me very different things as a poster. I fully believe they can co-exist without friction.

Yes a large number of members have come originally from PH (and continue to post in both places). However, I have networks other places and we have a lot of members from those sources too - and word of mouth.

I have been guilty of sharing or quoting links on one or two occasions and I will cease and desist. Sorry.

This is purely because I would LOVE to be able to share some internet hilarities with other networks - as I would with any other thing I find on the internet!
