/// in posts bug?
Discussion
Noticed something about the // that seem to be appearing in posts namely Youtang Yourang's.
It happened in a quote he made yet when I quoted the post he quoted no //.
Just wondering if there is a browser out there that is putting these in in an attempt to escape the characters to prevent them being parsed yet for some reason getting printed.
Not that up on server side stuff but just thought I'd let you chaps know about it.

It's a known bug with Firefox and he's been given the link to a fix twice. Presumably can't be bothered to do anything about it
I'd argue that it's not. The known bug in Firefox means that when you press the ' key the "find on page" command is activated as far as I am aware.

I retract the assertion.Famous Graham said:
That's what happens when you read other people's posts and don't bother researching it yourself

yeah I put "I would argue" because I'm not **100%** sure but I couldn't find any reference to the "symptom" the Mr Slash is suffering, but lots about the other known issue with the ' key (which I have suffered myself in the past).Gassing Station | Website Feedback | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
