Why won't my pics show in threads

When you post the link, does it look something like this:

[IMG] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/PenelopePit... [/IMG]

(but without the spaces at the beginning and end?)

I've been using [pic] http://img219.imageshack.us/my.php?image=uglygirlx... [/pic] without the spaces. Any difference?

I've tried copying your picture to Photobucket direct from the URL and this is the message I got. I'm a bit of a technophobe, so I don't know how to fit it, apart from using a different hosting site.

"Upload failed for my.php?image=uglygirlxq8.jpg with error: Invalid file type"
