PH causing IE to lock up?

Over the last week or so I've been finding IE7 will lock up when I click on links in PH. Not all the time. Just occasionally.

Things like the next page or My Stuff. I'll click on it, and thats it, IE locks up. Not just on one computer either. Happens on both my XP and Vista machines. It's not just the page is slow to load either. IE actually stopps working and I cant chage tabs open menues in IE or do anything except kill it in task manager.

It's not happening on any other sites (Not that I visit many others). Now it could be MS have patched IE and thats done it. Or have the PH hamsters been chewing on the code again?

Is anybody else experiancing it? IE and PH have always been very stable up to now....

Sure it's not an IE7 problem, there's quite a few people getting lock ups and crashes some say it's related to extensions, some the Flash Player (Flash advert maybe?).

It could well be. PH thinks i've followed the link as the page I wanted to get to will be showing as read (Greyed font), even though it never loaded. Could therefore be a flash advert on the page I never get to see I guess... Which means I cant point to the advert thats causing it as I never see it... Darn.

I'm getting it too and on the Telegraph site. It's an IE problem...sure of it.

I am getting occasional crashing from IE7 here, but it happens across all internet sites and not just PH so I think it is IE7 related... get no crashes in FF or Chrome.

Furry Muff. Sounds like it's MS making IE unstable and I just need to get around the internet a bit more and I'll find it other places...

I switched to Firefox a few weeks back for this very reason. No probs at all now.
