Can this be set a bit less aggressively?

When returning to a thread, typing replies to several posts that were submitted after a previous visit, simply typing at normal speed gets a second or third reply rejected with the PH anti-flooding message.

I realise why this is needed. But!

What do others think?

Yes that would be reasonable if all the posts were related but some need an 'individual' response.

PH techie people - does the anti-flooding need to be set to such a fast catch speed? Add 10% + 2 maybe wink

It is not something we have had massive complaints at before. We have tried to set it at a timeline that stops spammers but doesn't penalise proper posters. Apologies if it has caused you problems, so if anyone else thinks this is a problem then let us know and we will review the timescale for this block.

Thanks RP.

It looks like I'll have to detune my typing fingers and go slower.

I've had this a few times as well and I got logged in as some else the other day but then it quickly swapped back to my profile.
