If the members of the technical team really have been notified, they haven't sorted the issue since yesterday when I started seeing this every couple of clicks tongue out

^^^ As above really. I'm "hopeing" that tonights downtime etc is the solution or cause or whatever. And that afterwards the PH Hamsters will be back up to speed. Or they'll have been shot and new ones on back order.... wink

It's all gone a bit wonky, it took me a few attempts to reply to this thread as I kept getting one of those PH error messages!

In fact It keeps doing it when I click submit too (arrrggghhh!!)

Sorry about that, we had a web server fall over for a little while.

I've given it a kick so everything should be back to normal now, but if you spot any more errors then do let me know.

A bit like that, but with an individual email for each time a person gets the 'oops' message.

The ones from this morning are still downloading, but the current tally is over 14,000 emails and that is just from one of our 15 servers being down for about half an hour! yikes

I hope you have to read every one and send an apology email to the user. Seems like a suitable punishment for letting the hamsters slack. hehe

Ironic that an error causes so much load on a server probably causing more errors..

Is there not a better error notification method?
