"Newbies first post" thread - Why was it closed?

I couldn't see anything wrong with it - in fact I found it quite interesting!

Yeah, it's interesting to see how polite people are in their first few posts!

It's a shame I thought it had real potential not only was it gathering real interest but it had value because the current newbies are unable to see it as they are locked out of P&P under your new rules whilst serving as a reminder to the more well baked members that we were all new once and all newbies are not trolls!

Any chance of any feedback from the website feedback people?

I'm an idiot when it comes to computers and website stuff but I had wondered if it sits in an "Archive" somewhere and it's expensive or draining on a server or something to have loads of people dig back into their first posts?

Either way an idea of what was the issue would be appreciated so we can learn from it.

That still is not an explanation as to why it has been closed, so why has it been closed?

Not certain as I wasn't about at the time, but probably just because it had already been done very recently.

Which mod closed the topic, perhaps they could give us some feedback because no one seems to know why the topic was closed.

I have noticed some of the other website feedback questions have been answered since this question was posted a couple of days ago but this one has been avoided!

I haven't seen the mod online since it was closed but I think he meant to add this to the closure.
